DJ Sheffield

I'm Musha. I'm based in Shelley near Huddersfield, and Sheffield's north side is a straightforward run over for me, down through Penistone to Stocksbridge or round the M1 to Hillsborough and Chapeltown. The city centre and the west side aren't much further. Booking a DJ from outside the city means a proper rig and a full record bag without a Sheffield agency markup. Whatever you've got on, the deal stays the same: turn up early, set up properly, and never leave the floor empty.

The sound that sets me apart

Sheffield's a proper music city and the crowds know their stuff. Plenty of DJs still open and close on the same chart and disco playlist though. I'll happily play that when the room calls for it, but my real strength is the current chart and dance end of things, sat alongside house, R&B, garage, hip-hop, disco and old school. That mix is what gets a younger Sheffield crowd up at a 21st without losing the aunties and uncles at the same wedding. Tell me who's in the room and I'll build the night to suit them rather than running a fixed set.

Covering Sheffield from the north

Coming from Shelley, the north and west of Sheffield are my natural ground: Stocksbridge and Deepcar down the valley, Hillsborough, Chapeltown, Ecclesfield and Oughtibridge round the M1, and out to Wortley and Grenoside. The city centre, Ecclesall and the south side are all doable too, it's just a few more minutes on the motorway. Hotel suite, golf club, works do, function room or a marquee on a farm, the gear travels and the sound fills the space either way. If you're anywhere in Sheffield and you can give me a date and a venue, I can usually get there.
