DJ Manchester

Manchester wasn't originally on the patch, it earned its way on there. Most of my early bookings came from Huddersfield and Kirklees, but the leads kept coming from the Manchester side, Stockport, Saddleworth, that whole corridor, so I stopped treating it as a stretch and started treating it as a normal Saturday. Fifty minutes down the M62 from Shelley, own rig, 5.0 rated, 213 events played, always me behind the decks.

People assume a Manchester booking means paying city rates for a DJ who's driving in from three streets away. I'm not that. I'm based in Shelley, near Huddersfield, and Manchester is a genuine fifty minute run down the M62, no different in practice to a job on the far side of Kirklees. What's changed is how often I make that run: DJ Musha started as a strictly local operation, and the demand pulling me west, real enquiries, not guesswork, is exactly why this page exists now rather than two years ago.

Events I cover in Manchester

What I bring that a lot of city DJs don't

Manchester has no shortage of DJs. What it has less of is someone who'll sit down beforehand and actually plan the night around your crowd rather than run a stock playlist. Current chart and dance sits at the centre of what I play, built out with house, R&B, garage, hip-hop, disco and old school depending on who's in the room. That's the difference between a floor that's full for twenty minutes and one that's full all night, and it's the same approach whether it's a wedding at a hotel or a private do in the city centre.

Manchester and the boroughs around it

City centre venues around Deansgate and the Northern Quarter, then out through Chorlton, Didsbury and Wilmslow Road, across to Salford and Trafford, and up towards Prestwich and Whitefield. It's one run down the M62 from Shelley, which is also why Stockport and Oldham sit either side of this page rather than as separate afterthoughts, the whole corridor gets covered on the same trip. If you've got a date and a venue anywhere in Greater Manchester, get in touch and I'll tell you straight whether it works.

Venues I can cover around Manchester

Booked somewhere I haven't named. Tell me the venue and I'll plan the setup around the room, a warehouse space and a hotel ballroom need different kit and I'd rather ask before the day than guess.

What clients say

Facebook
"One of the best DJ sets I've probably been to. He knew how to include all age groups and there wasn't a single minute nobody was on the dance floor. Definitely would recommend for any party. Thank you for an amazing night!"

"I highly recommend! Such a good DJ, it was obvious everyone enjoyed the music played as we were all dancing the whole time! Had such a good night, cheers."

DJ Manchester FAQs

Do you actually travel out to Manchester, or is it just listed on the site?

I travel out for it. Manchester is about fifty minutes from Shelley down the M62, and it's become a regular run rather than an occasional one, so you're not paying a premium for a DJ who rarely leaves Huddersfield.

How much does a wedding DJ cost in Manchester?

Depends on the date, the hours and the venue, plus the run over from Shelley. Send me the details on WhatsApp and I'll send back a fixed price within 24 hours, no obligation.

What's included in the price?

Full professional sound system, lighting rig, a wireless mic for speeches, and me setting up and packing down myself. No hidden extras for travel into Manchester, it's built into the quote from the start.

Can you handle a mixed-age crowd, not just a club night?

That's most of what I do. Chart, dance, disco, R&B, garage and old school, read against the room rather than run as a fixed set, so an 18th and a wedding in the same weekend get completely different nights.
