Mobile DJ · Stockport
Ask where DJ Musha bookings actually come from and Stockport's name comes up more than you'd expect for a town on the far side of the Pennines from Shelley. It's about fifty five minutes down the M62 and M60, further than a Kirklees job but nowhere near a stretch, and it's part of the same Manchester-side run as Oldham and the city centre. Own sound and lighting, 5.0 rated, 213 events played, and it's always me on the night, never a stand-in.
Stockport sits just far enough from Huddersfield that people assume it's out of range, and then are surprised how straightforward the booking turns out to be. Fifty five minutes down the motorway, travel built into the quote from the first message, no separate call-out fee sprung on you later. The job itself doesn't change because the postcode has: turn up early, test the sound before a single guest arrives, and keep the floor moving from the first dance to last orders.
I don't run one fixed playlist across every job. The core is current chart and dance, then I bring in house, R&B, garage, hip-hop, disco and old school depending on who's actually in the room in front of me. That's what lets a 21st and a wedding on the same weekend end up sounding completely different, even though the equipment and the DJ are exactly the same. Tell me about the crowd before the day and I'll build the set to suit them, not the other way round.
Stockport town centre, Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme to the south, Marple and Romiley out east towards the Peak fringe, Bredbury and Woodley nearer the M60, and Heaton Moor and Heaton Chapel closer in. It's one run down the M62 and M60 from Shelley, and since I'm already covering Manchester and Oldham on the same corridor, a Stockport date rarely needs anything special arranging around it. Give me a date and a venue and I'll tell you straight if it's workable.
Booked somewhere I've not listed. Send me the venue name and I'll check the room before the day, a hotel suite and a converted barn need different lighting and levels, and I'd rather sort that in advance than on arrival.
"One of the best DJ sets I've probably been to. He knew how to include all age groups and there wasn't a single minute nobody was on the dance floor. Definitely would recommend for any party. Thank you for an amazing night!"
"I highly recommend! Such a good DJ, it was obvious everyone enjoyed the music played as we were all dancing the whole time! Had such a good night, cheers."
No, it's roughly fifty five minutes from Shelley, mostly M62 and M60. It's further than my Kirklees jobs but well within a normal working radius, and travel is priced into the quote so there's no surprise add-on.
It's worked out from your date, hours, venue and the run over from Shelley. Message me the details and I'll reply with a fixed quote within 24 hours, no obligation to book.
Yes, all of it. Full sound system, lighting rig, smoke machine and a wireless mic for speeches, and I set up and pack down myself, no separate crew to coordinate.
Always. I build a base around chart, dance and old school for your Stockport crowd, then take requests through the night to keep it moving in whatever direction the room wants.
