The Holiday Inn Barnsley in Dodworth has dedicated spaces for wedding functions alongside its usual hotel business.
Hotel wedding venues tend to have the basics sorted, but check rather than assume everything's standard. Ask which suite the wedding's booked into, what the sockets and access are like near the DJ area, and whether there's a curfew tied to other guests staying in the hotel that night.
Wortley Hall is a stately home just down the road toward Sheffield, and it hosts weddings in a proper grand setting.
Stately homes come with their own considerations, especially around load-in and any restrictions tied to the building itself. Worth asking whether there are listed building rules on fixings or noise levels, how far the DJ setup is from parking or a loading entrance, and whether high ceilings and large rooms change how sound needs to be handled.

It depends more on the room booked than the venue itself. A converted barn, a civic hall, a banqueting suite, a hotel and a stately home all need slightly different approaches, but each works well once you know where the floor and DJ setup are going.
Some do, particularly the larger and more formal venues. It's not something to worry about, just something to ask about early so the setup gets planned around it.
